PM Modi ₹42,000 Crore Diwali Schemes to Boost Farmers and Youth in 2025

The announcement of a series of new schemes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paved the way for Diwali 2025 celebrations with a focus on agriculture, rural development, and youth empowerment. Through these new initiatives, the government plans to provide assistance to farmers in more than 100 districts and give financial support to the young professionals who are stepping into the job market.

₹42,000 Crore Agricultural Package Unveiled

PM Modi, in a significant move from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, portraying the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, unveiled the ₹42,000 crore agricultural package. This scheme embraces the 100 aspirational districts of India with a backing of various ministries and government programs. The ultimate aim is to uplift the farming methods, increase the produce, and to wipe off the poverty of small and marginal farmers by having a good net income.

The package has got two major flagship schemes:

  • PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana having the allotted amount of ₹24,000 crore
  • Dalhan Utpadakta Mission with a budget of ₹11,440 crore, which is dedicated to enhancing the production of pulses

These schemes will cover the agriculture, livestock, fishery, and food processing sectors, and are aimed at making the rural economy more sustainable and profitable.

₹15,000 Support for First-Time Job Seekers

PM Modi has also declared a financial reward of ₹15,000 for youth, besides the agricultural reforms. This new program is part of the government’s comprehensive employment plan and was mentioned in his Independence Day speech earlier this year. It is anticipated that the scheme will be launched around Diwali and will be of help to young professionals in covering their initial expenses as they set out in their career paths.

GST Reforms as a “Double Diwali” Gift

PM Modi has called the forthcoming Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms a “Double Diwali” present for the people. The modifications are intended to ease the taxation and lower the cost of basic commodities and services. The reform is predicted to be a win-win scenario for both the customers and the small-scale retailers that would help in making the pricing of the goods and services more transparent and less expensive.

Final Thoughts

PM Modi’s Diwali 2025 schemes are “strongly economic empowerment and rural development” emphasized. The government is confronting the key problems faced by India’s working population through targeted packages for farmers and job incentives for the youth. The initiatives will not only bring some joyous moments but also provide long-term advantages to millions of people all over the country.
